Camshaft Upgrade?

Just out of curiosity, how hard and expensive is it to swap out the cams on an 06 Duratec? I'd use the search, but that question JUST popped in my head, and I'm on my way out to work. Pros/cons? Dumb idea? (i want to, Just because btw) Any suggestions? Tty all when i get back.

Fairley easy. I made the boo boo, of forgeting 'bout the tensioner & wham. So it took me a couple of additional hrs to pull the cover. Its well worth it. Look at the oem lobes & the aftermaket ones will tell you. IK its starting to sound like recording= for a DD I found the crane cams # 224-0010 work great.

Awesome. I'm definitely going to consider doing this. Feasibly, I'm looking at next year. I have so many projects lined up already. But I'm relieved to know it's fairly simple.

Haha, right? I was under my cover a few days ago. And it looks pretty straight forward. But yea, I'd be more convinced with pictures =P

This one:
http://www.fswerks.com/collections/e...shafts-stage-3

Idk about the stage three though I'm sure the idle would be really rough, so I'd probably just go stage 2.

I'm also thinking about getting a header, but I'm only finding a racing one, and this is my DD, should I get it anyway?

DD & stage 2, let along stage 3 cams w/ a 20 motor, don't go together. The header is a race only= your deleting your mani/cat= converter. What exhaust do you have? crane cam 224-0010, fwerks header & stealth exhaust, a Steeda intake & a tune w/ the rear o2 & egr turned off.
