Yea nothing is getting into the cabin but I just dont like the idea of water in there, rust is the devil. Guess I'll just have to keep waxing the door sills.

I have this too after a heavy downpour or a good wash.

Interesting, I have this happen too but I never thought that it could be an issue! I don't get a flood of water but there is some water on both of the rear door sills every time it rains.

This is where you get a big sploosh of water spilling out that had been sitting inside the door or ?

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using FF Mobile.

Yea. when I opened my rear doors great deal of water came gushing out of the door sill area. The cabin was dry and the exterior was dry (by the time I opened the door) so the water had to have been sitting between the seals (I guess)

Yeah, I get it from my drivers side, both doors. I open the door and a lot of water seems to have been sitting on the plastic rocker panel.

Yeah, sorry I was trying to clarify that your OP was a bit different from what XlarXlar was describing.

Sorry for the confusion, I think what I have is similar but no where near as bad as what the OP has.

I had this happen on the right rear door on my sedan, and retaining water isnt normal, Im going to bring mine to the dealer, think about water sitting there for an extended time. Not good.

Plus my car was dry by the time I saw it, walked back from being at a friends and a big ole puddle magically was made. When I came back, same thing no cabin intrusion, but wet metal between the seals.

Also my spoiler randomly releases water from either between the spoiler and deck lid, days after detailing or rain.

where they referring to the actual door seals or the roof seal? I assume if its the door seal it must be an outer seal.
