This looks great ! ... how about sharing a pic from the rear ?

A few observations:

Stripes: In the 30's each country was assigned national racing colors. Britain:Green, Italy:Red, France:Blue, Germany:Silver, etc. Since they quickly ran out of colors, some countries were assigned a body color and a stripe: USA: white w/blue stripe, (sometimes blue w/white) Canada: Green w/white, Scotland: blue w/white, etc. After WW II, Germany changed from silver to white.
The practice generally carried through to the early 1970's, when sponsors began to dictate color schemes.

Steering wheels: You don't mount a 3 spoke wheel upside down because the top spoke would block your view of the tach and other gauges.

I have been looking at a number of options for stripes. I have PB and will be doing white. I have seen a few 'kits' that have pre-cut vinyl with backing paper, like the one from They list the width of each stripe as 8 inches. How wide are yours? I like the 'factory' ones at the top of the post, they are a little bit wider, almost touching the washer nozzles on each side. The kit mentioned above is $219.00, which seems pricey compared to buying the vinyl in rolls and cutting it yourself.

MY yellow Focus i would like polka dots for a stripe...
Arranged so big ones in the middle of the stripe, and as closer to edge they get smaller.. Same stripe pattern as cars shown, just the actual stripes would be black and titanium grey metallic bubbles... Patterned as I suggested. (random like, not 'in a row')
