The only thing the car goes off is milage and you can set that on the driver display. There are 3 options. I have mine set to 5K miles.

I don't have an ST but did have an experience with Ford dealer had them change oil while it was in body shop for lot boo boo @ 500 miles then I do every 5000 miles.
Well were going on a trip so I check everything out and oil on dip stick was just below the bottom hole this was after setting all night so in fairness I started car warmed it up then let it set 10 - 15 minutes like manual says to do, well it barley touches dip stick called Ford bring it in well check it out.
So they tell me no leaks and only had to add .3 of a quart to top it off. Ok got home and this is what I had so you guys tell me is this low?

Thought so so went to store picked up a quart of same oil and put all but .3 to get to top mark, Oh and sent that picture to salesperson to ask them no response.
Here is my 2012 with 79,000 miles after changing oil myself and 4000 miles on it. Wonder how hard it would be to become Ford certified to fix the car myself under warranty... LOL

What's wrong with the first pic, as long as it's between the hash marks it's good. It doesn't have to be max full.

ST Oil Changes at Ford Dealerships

We'll if they put the right amount in the first time it would be at the full line not at the add mark. It's not between it's at the add line hard to get a good picture being all new and shinny. Like I said it was below before they added .3 read the manual at lower mark add one quart and at 500 miles it better not be burning it the 2012 has almost 80,000 miles and doesn't drop an once between changes. Dang it I paid for 4.5 quarts and that is what I want. LOL

I know this doesn't change things now but this is a perfect example of why I change my oil myself. That way I have nobody but myself to blame if something is done incorrectly.

I won't take my ST to the dealer. They don't realize this car takes 5.7 quarts to do a proper fill.

If they know how much it takes, no.

Putting in a measured amount is fine, but even the quick change places do a dipstick check B4 done.

You would think that they would have figured it out by now considering that there are many Ford vehicles that use the 2.0L EB engine.

That's because of all the engines they blew up. LOL they also put oil cap on top of hood latch so they can't shut hood with out filling it up. ;)
