If anyone is still looking to do this or interested in doing this... it is very time consuming and takes a lot of skill. I have my oval cut off the grill, you will for sure have to do fiber glass, no way around it. You also have to peel off all the chrome coating. So that your fiber glass and paint can adhere properly later on. I have pictures of what mine looks like so far if anyone wants to see...

Heres what i have done so far.. It is a lot of work, it also takes a lot of paitence. If you can afford to, pay someone to do it.. seriously, this has been 3 months in the making and I'm still not done.
