fwerks race or stealth?

Planning on doing exhaust soon and have decided i want either the race or stealth system from fswerks. ive heard the stealth system in person before and i liked it but im thinking i want the louder race system. Wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has the race system on how much they like it? Also want to make sure it would pass inspection here in virginia.

If i were you, if you plan on putting in a header go with the stealth because with the race header and exauhst its really loud and that will get you a noise violation down here PLUS that combination isnt meant for the streets so you prob wont pass inspection. With the race exhaust alone you'll do fine. Go on fswerks to listen to them more and maybe ask customer service for some insight. But my opinion if you want louder with no tickets later AND youll pass inspection go stealth. But thats just me.
Oh and welcome to FF!

When they actually come out with a header thats purpose made for the mk3 then i'll think about getting one. Until then i had my eye on the stealth as well, I heard the race exhaust drones a lot on the interstate. Not like we get up to speed here anyways with crappy traffic and tarded drivers. Plus after the break in the stealth will get louder. If and when you do get your exhaust I would really like to see and hear it in person someday. I'm in the Pembroke area so maybe I'll see you around.

Oh and in case you two are interested ODR is having an autox event at the pungo airfield this sunday. More info can be found at http://www.odr-scca.org/

Don't know if i'll be going this weekend or not, but its a lot of fun and only like $30.

Same here, most are like northern VA but there's another guy in this area that goes to ODU with a 2nd gen like me. Have you done anything to your car yet?

Just my steeda rear sway bar. It was the cheapest and easiest install. It also did a great job of eliminating understeer . Next I was planning on my exhaust andd some eibach lowering springs

I actually know of two other guys. One who plays at the same airsoft field as me who drives a gen 1 svt. it was turboed at one point with 400 horses at the wheels and a friend of a friend with an mk3 like me with the fswerks stealth exhaust, steeda cold air intake and eibach springs with the steeda rear sway bar. he lives across the street from tcc. his foci is like a gunmetal grey titanium. Hes a big stang guy too. Owns a gt500 and a couple other stangs.
