Carbon fiber hood cleaning

I just picked up another SVT off CL and the hood is super faded. I'd like to try and restore it myself and was wondering what people use/any tips they have for me in the process. (pictures were after I tried some quick detailer rubbed on)

From the looks of the pictures I didn't see any chips so I would suggest trying Meguiar's Heavy Duty Oxidation remover. http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Heavy...dation+remover

Then I would followup with a high gloss polish and then waxing afterwards.

However if there are chips in the clear coat then you'll need to wet sand it down with really fine grit sand paper (1500-2000) and then reapply the clear coat.
