I went with the eraser technique today and it worked like a charm! The residue came right off. I'm definitely going to look into getting the meguiars nxt 2.0 for my next wax. Thanks again everyone!

^really? I'd read all over the net- autogeeks, meguiars online, amazon, that NXT 2.0 stains trim badly- that's why I didn't try it and bought meguiars ultimate instead.
