Immortal Instruments: City of bones

My wife is into all these love, vampire mombo jumbo. I hate to read, so I dont. I usually let her do her own thing when all these movies come out. Twilight, beautiful creatures, ect...

Today the 31st. Was her b-day so I treated her to a dinner and a movie, her party is tomorrow after noon.

Anyways, she has been reading this new series called Immortal Instruments with her mom, I've been looking on, doing my own thing. When the movie came out they where going to see it together but they never made a date to do it.

So what the hell I never get time off I like a movie from time to time, so why not.

Wow, such a great movie! I think I found a series I will actually be able to get into, the action, the story, the effects, the characters all done very well.

Of course she said the book(s) (6 all together) are better but the movie don't dissapoint. I actually can't wait for the next movie!

For those who haven't seen or read about it's about a movie about a young girl who learns she is a descendent of a group of worriors called Shadowhunters who protect the world against demons.
It also has werewolves, vampires, warlocks, and witchs in the mix.

Kinda has a Underworld feel to it, but has lean toward a younger audiance.

Genre.
Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance

My girlfriend dragged me to see this as well. All in all it was a pretty awesome movie. Definetly some things to look at and its a pretty good story behind it as well. I said I'd never get into it either but I'm like a girl when it comes to the Hunger Games stuff.

Glad to hear the movie is good.
I've read all the books, as well as the other related series.
I really like them.
And yeah, the books are always ten times better than the movies.

I normally dread seeing the movies, because I hate it when they change, and mess up the stories.

My wife doesn't understand why I like to read so much, it really doesn't fit my personality otherwise.

Like I tell her, imagine your favorite movie, now give them an unlimited budget for special effects, the perfect actors, and they can tell the whole story instead of abbreviating it for time, now make it last days instead of an hour or two. You can enjoy it for a lot longer.
