HID that will fit the projector housing

I tried to install my old HID's in my new projectors, but when i put them in and tried to fasten the bulb down, it did not fit AT ALL, and I could not tighten it down to secure it, anyone have this same issue? and what is the solution?

what projectors do you have?

there are a few different styles out there H1 and D2 are the most common. if it is a generic kit from ebay they most likely will not work as those have the halogen base with the three locking cams on them. the h1 and d2 styles do not use these and are located by the electrode coming off of the bulb and secured by a nut

Yeah I have the ones from eBay, it came with a halogen bulb. So there is way to use HID in these?

yes, but you will need to do a little fine tuning.

there are a few threads on this some where. but for the angle eyes, they use a different bulb then the h13 that came with the car originally. i think they use a h9 bulb. you should be able to just buy new bulbs and not have to get a whole new kit
