To be honest if it was any other sales person I wouldn't believe it but my dad and him are good friends as in they go for drinks together and was at my parents 25th anniversary. I am not worried that he is hiding anything but I guess anything is possible for sure.

My 2012 has 11k miles on it and I've never had an issue. If YOUR car seems fine I'd buy it, if it has any issues at all, run away.

Just like any used car, something could come up. As Vector said, it drives well, go for it. It is still under warranty.

Just make sure the 12B37 update has been done. That corrected most issues with the DCT. Also check the MFT it should have version 3.51, log into sync my ride and download the version checker and run it on the car and it will tell what you've got. If you need the update you can download from smr and they will send you a new nav card if you need it.

Ya I plan to take it to a local dealership that someone on the forum works at here. I'm buying it from a Chev dealer as the previous guy traded in for a camaro. Can I do the sync updates myself? Seems I would just need a USB key eh?

Easy enough. I signed up at the sync my ride site and all that now. I will check it out this afternoon once I get it home. When I called the ford dealership that he bought he at originally they said the only things he has come in for was an oil change, change a battery cable under warranty and update his Nav it sounded like. Not sure if they updated the whole thing at that point or not but maybe.
