Dyno pickup was a hair off. We took it to 8k and yes she still wants move.

Ported head, tubular manifold, size of turbo, what a/r the turbine housing is, cams, light weight pistons and rods, all play effect on revving the motor higher.
With my setup and the turbo I'm running I have the ability to run to 9k (as long as everything holds and the power runs that high) otherwise 8500

He can rev it higher if he wants but when you calculate the piston speed it gets pretty sketchy

Completely different type of motor.

Also length of the stroke too.
That's why motorcycle motors can rev to 12-16k rpm.
