1500rpm idle?

What's the purpose of that option with the Injected Engineering tune?

the elevated idle is developed to allow you to run some sort of cleaner through the intake without having a second person to monitor the throttle/ actuate it.

Ohhhhhhhh I forgot all about the magical substance called seafoam. I'm assuming that'll be the only way to clean the valves

I am not sure if it is sea foam that injected is using but it is probably something close.

It will be interesting to see how dirty the valves actually get. On my MS6, they got dirty FAST. Was in part because compression/leak down wasn't great (most likely the fuel injector seals, AGAIN :S) but this is also mainly made worse by returned exhaust gasses (EGR). Since our car has dual variable intake and exhaust cams, I believe that is how they have eliminated the need for one.

The only way to tell is for someone who has kept the stock intake and has a couple miles on the engine. Take intake manifold off (easy) and take pictures. The reason I ended up going with this Ford engine was that it had the least amount of items to dirty up the valves for a DI engine.

For as long as I own this car, I'll be keeping the stock airbox and filter but change openings. Having proper airflow back to the valve cover from tube just before the throttle body is paramount.

Best thing to do once in a while? Good gas and do a few WOT runs, letting the car cool a little between runs.

What's the volatility of those? Will they go in through the vacuum block like seafoam?

They tested the cleaner on my car and it definitely helped. I have almost 50k on my car that I got may 2011. After the clean the car blew blue smoke till at least 5 WOT's.
