Yeah, except for the fact that it's not actually new either. Pretty much nothing listed there is new in any way shape or form from the 2013 order guide, and clearly not that different from the 12 guides either.

This was just a list of trim level highlights/ option highlights, it doesn't say which are specifically new or not.

The few new things were the full body styling kit added to the J2 13 orders as an option, etc.

As long as the "deleted" list is an empty list on this 2014MY order guide, then Ford N.A. is doing good

Still no HID headlight option? I wouldn't buy a new car today without them.

I wonder if anyone know when the employee prices will start in Canada and if there will be any cash incentive for the 2013 focus?
Im thinking of replacing my 2012 with a 2013.
Thanks

Hi powermax,

Your local dealership will be able to help you out with those questions. You can also give Ford Canada a call at 1-800-565-3673.

How do you know?

How do you know that the Focus sales numbers do not reflect any damage done by the DCT's reputation? You are comparing its sales numbers to those for other brands, rather than to what its sales would have been without the DCT problems. That is a number we will only know if and when they are fixed and the news gets out. We could then see Focus go much higher, at the expense of the "dogs" in the group. (The new Corolla could distort the results, though.)

The significantly higher Civic sales are probably because Honda listened to all the bad reviews of the 2012 model and addressed all of the complaints with a makeover for 2013, which was much sooner than normally would be expected. (I haven't compared 2012 and 2013 numbers to confirm that suspicion, though, so I could be wrong on that.) Ford should be paying attention to what Honda did. I wouldn't buy a Focus with a DCT until I see proof of it being fixed for real. With the improvements Honda made in the Civic for 2013, it might be more likely to win me over from the 2014 Focus I'd like to buy. (I hope not, though. The CiviD still looks unattractive to me next to a Focus.)

I have an early 2013 Ti with the 6 spd selectshift DCT Aug 27 2012 build with 15000 miles
I do not experience any of the problems people commonly complain about.

However I did have the shuddering at 300-500 miles that came and did a couple times but it has long past since then.
As with all DCTs sometimes you can confuse it and get it to not do a perfect shift but that's normal
