Viper 5904 in a 2010 SES

I just got my 2010 SES, I have customized several vehicles, this is my first Ford.
I have a Viper 5904 2 Way Security and Remote Start coming this week, and I have several questions before starting. First, is there a single, specific place to access the wire loom for the install, or will the drops be throughout the car? I have the recommended DBall module, but why do they offer a Ford PATS bypass too? For earlier models? Is there anything I should know that's vehicle specific before beginning? And last but not least, Is my Haynes wiring diagram good enough for this install or does anyone know of better diagrams?

We haven't done a remote start on a new body style focus yet at our shop. So i'm sorry I can't help you there. As far as the wiring diagrams try to see if you can get one from directechs. They are usually very detailed because they tell you wire colors and where most of the locations are. Sorry I couldn't help more. Good luck with the install.

Did one of these last week at best buy.. tough little boogers.. just make sure you can get your bypass to program we used the flcan and it worked the dball im not sure about and directechs is the way to go for the wiring. all of ignition wiring should be right at the ignition harness, but door locks, tach, ect are in the glovebox at the bcm.. took me a good five and a half hours.
