hello ? is this thing on ??

Just to pull up a 12 month old thread !! Actually, an update !! The new used rear suspension for my ST235 is getting installed this winter ! The reason for a new used rear suspension assembly is that the replacement unit is equipped with disc brakes ! So, come spring, the beast will have four-wheel disc-brakes, with matching drilled, slotted, and galvanized discs I also purchased the master cylinder off the same car, so I have the protportioning valve needed to make the swap work properly - ( did my homework!)

Regardless of the date, the ride still looks tight.

disc brake parts are here

Slotted and drilled rotors are in. Brake pads are in. Hoses are in. Calipers due in tomorrow. Still need to order parking brake cables, however. Looks like ford dealer is the only way to get them, as parts stores don't list 'em Guess I need to start taking photos and start a new thread, hmm??

ST170 Valve cover is most obvious

Wouldn't the Euro bumpers have to be taken off and replaced with USDM bumpers to pass inspection?

Doesn't have the right front brakes, and has REAR DRUMS

No ST170 Recaros

I think the ST170's all had sunroof's

Wrong gauges

Doesn't appear to have a hood lock

Standard interior bits. (shifter, pedals, trim)

There's something else wrong with the engine bay, but I can't put my finger on it.

No ST170 badges either, though I suppose he could have debadged it.

And the ST170 came with a Cruise Control steering wheel didnt it?

Seems to me, this is just a conversion, albeit a very well executed one.
