Blue Heater Vent LED?

Wanting to put some blue LED's inside my heater vents, but I have a couple of questions that I am unsure of. If the heater is ran on full blast heat will the heat cause the LED or wires to get too hot? And also how hard is it to run the wires through the vents? Is their a how to on this somewhere? It looks to me that to do the 2 center vents the radio and such has to be removed..?..? And how do you drill a hole through the vent? Thanks for the info in advance!

take a butterknife and wrap around a towel around it to protect it from scratching or making marks. insert at the bottom to either side and pry until it dislodges and pull out.

this gives your a better idea of what to expect behind the vents as far as wiring goes. the vent you drill into is actually like 4 inches long... you'll understand what im talking about
