Rear Window (Hatch) Tint Issue

I have had my back window tinted twice on my newly bought Focus and the installer just cant seem to get the tint to stick to the microdots along the bottom of the rear window. The second attempt was MUCH better but still having issues. Is anyone else having this issue or know a good way to get this resolved? Would humidity have anything to do with it? Or will I just have to deal with a few imperfections? It has been raining here for about 25 days in a row

Any tint will turn a silverish color on the dots. It is not that noticeable. I see this on my entire front windshield edges. but it should stick. My tint is fine. What tint did he install?

I had SunTek Carbon 35% installed.
Mine looks like the top, but worse. Some areas look "okay" and others have waves or wrinkles where its not even touching glass (for example: like it was stretched and not enough glass for that much tint to fit into.

The install company came recommended by a custom builder but I have a feeling Im going to have another location that installs SunTek to try(warranty reasons). Or go dramatic and demand money back so I can try another brand of tint all together. Reason for that latter is there are other issues with the tint on the doors (crease marks in the tint).

Candy this installer if you don't mind me saying stinks. Creases shows sloppy work and cutting corners. A reputable installer will just redo the window at that point. The same installer did my Suntek front windshield. 70 percent I saw a crease and blew my top. I told him an immediate refund after he told me he could not work on it since his back was aching. I said then why did you take the job???? I live with the crease my sun pass covers it and I was refunded the 130 bucks. The rest of the windows are fine. I will eventually have it replaced.

How much time are you giving it? Mine took about 2-3 weeks to perfect itself. I had some small bubbles in the rear windshield originally. I did mine in the winter though where the temperature was below freezing for a good amount of time. Mines good now.

Micro dots seemed sloppy with mine until I have it time to perfect itself.

A "highly reputable" tint and auto accessory shop in El Paso (Alamo tint) did my Camaro and wouldn't overlay the tint on the back window bubbles and left a 1/4" or larger gap around anything on the window - i.e. the rear defroster electrical tab, edge of the glass, etc. I asked for it to be redone or a refund and they stated the tinted from a "computer template" and template called for the gaps. No refund. No fix. Some places just suck. I should've registered a BBB complaint. My advice, complain to the BBB online if you can't get satisfaction.

I get Focus tinted tomorrow. Wish me luck. I'll let you know if there's an issue.
