There is a brand new cossie intake on ebay for $300. DOesnt appear to be a knock off.

Any other day, they are $680 on ebay...plus you get $13 in ebay bucks!

The IM was designed for the D23 engine, so for us D20 guys, it will push your powerband up the rpm range a bit. This means it will give a gain in the top end, but you will sacrifice some low end for it. If it is a track car, fine. For a daily driver, this is not ideal.

Any header that fits the D23 also fits the D20. The IM will fit if you put on a 23 head. No porting necessary or even suggested as it flows more than you need. No internal modification needed. This has been done by another member who said it was not as much of a gain as he expected, but did add to the top end. In other words, for the cost and hassle, he might not go that route again if given the chance. I'd say just pick up some cams & header and call it a day. I have settled on this for the future of my DD, too.

I have been doing so reading and it seems that the combustion chambers on the 2.0 and 2.3 head is similar just the intake and exhast ports are a little different in size which in turn lowers the comp ratio due to the massive flow of air has any one done this to prove the reading i have been doing is correct or incorrect yes the lowering of the compression ration is great for turbo but i am thinking something else..nos..

Combustion chamber size and head gasket thickness determines compression ratio not the size of the ports or valves.
