That looks awesome! How did you spray them? With the wheels on or off? I want to have the exact same look, and keep the lug nuts and cap from being sprayed, but I don't want to take the wheel off. I don't really have a way to take them off at the moment. No jack. So could I just put tape over the nuts and the cap?

take them off, I dont think you will ever be able to do it with them on. Overspray is a issue with plasti dip. The thicker the spray on the wheels the easier it is to get off in the future. And tape is a pain because if it drys with the tape on you will peel it all off when you remove the tape. So basically wait until you can take them off, take the center cap out, and spray it on thick and several coats, let it dry and put back on. It lasts forever then!

Shoot. Well I have no jack stands. Only a floor jack. I might just go have them painted. Haha.

Dude, that will take forever doig one wheel at a time. Especially if you're laying down 4 or 5 coats. Trust me, find a way to do all four at one time.

I'm sorry but at the cost of it taking two days I would be finding something, anything, to use to support the vehicle. Spair tire, factory jack, aftermarket jack, block of wood...lol. I was in the same position with only two jackstones for one side. It took all night and the half the next day to lay down 5 coats of plasti and 3 coats of glossifier. Dipyourcar.com shows a video on how to spray without removing wheels. Basically you run a garbage/plastic bag on the inside of the wheel to protect the rotor/caliper and shoot away. The inside of the wheel will end up looking iffy but if you don't care than go for it. I'm too OCD and prefer the uniform finish.

I did mine 4 coats each wheel in like 45 minutes and drove 30 mins after and it was fine.

Glossifier called for 8 hours of cure time. That and the Florida humidity didnt help between coats.
