key fob vs integrated fob/key

Wife bought a new 2013 Ford Focus SE hatch...

One thing I noticed, was the small size of the "buttons" on the integrated fob/key.... vs a larger and separate key and fob.

All our other cars have the separate fob, along with a normal chipped key.
Our 2013 Ford Focus has everything on the handle of the key, along with the buttons being a little smaller...

It would have been really nice if it was a switchblade.

The buttons are too small? You must have gorilla thumbs.
