Issues to Look For

I have a 2011 Focus SES with 34K on it. I have to hit the unlock twice to get the passenger side door to unlock, and will be making a trip in the coming week to the dealership to address this issue before the warranty expires. My question for anyone here is, is there anything else I should be aware of to point out on or check before my visit ? Thanks in advance.

You have to do that in order to unlock all of the other doors besides the drivers. Hitting it once unlocks your door, hitting it twice lets all the females in ha

if u want to unlock all doors with one-click:
step 1: stand outside the car with the doors locked and the turn signals/ taillights not lit up.
step 2: hold the lock and unlock buttons together at the same and hold for 4 seconds, the turn signals and taillights will quickly flash.
step 3: enjoy

this process is in the owners manual on page 80

Thanks folks. I should have been more specific. I do hit the remote twice, and the two rear doors unlock. I need to hit the remote one extra time to get the passenger side door to open. My wife keeps thinking I am messing with her and although fun to do, that is not the case this time. Thanks for the tip GN Prime.

Hmm. Interesting problem, njchoochoo. Let me know what you hear from your dealership; if you need me to step in and assist, I'm just a PM away. :)

Tell your wife to stop grabbing the door handle while you're trying to unlock the door.

Problem solved!

HaHa!

That's happened to me as well, it'd be nice if it was that simple for the OP!

Ya never know...
