The Mazdaspeed 3 is fun. It's like driving a tiny diesel or something. All the power is from like 2,000 to 5,000 then shift.

Teach that youngin how to drive stick, it will make them a better driver in the long run. Plus, it seems its always easier to learn something new the younger you are
All of that, lol. The auto just isn't fun. And it robs a few mpg. I don't care about that too much. I still get good mpg. I'd like to do a 5-speed swap at some point. If the auto goes out, that's what I plan on. But I'm at 151k and it works fine.

I've driven the Mazda and didn't really fall in love.

We did however just drive a 2004 SVT and it was a great experience. Now to compare I'll find a ZX3 manual and auto - just to have tried all 3.

Funny thing though - might be looking for 3 now. The 21 year old had a bit too much fun.

Focuses for everyone, hooray!

We recently became a two Focus family when my wife bought the SES. Kinda seems like there's a Focus out there that suits everyone.
