focus thinks its a bathtub

Ok here's my problem
When it rains with some force I get water trickeling down under the passenger side carpet under the dash.
Thought it might be a\c evaporator but directly related to rain. Drips down underneath carpet and don't have an idea where it might start from. There is no build up of debris in the filter area for the cabin and nowhere else as well
Any ideas folks

Do some more searching on this forum I've heard of this before but can't remember the solution.

Had (maybe still have ?) this issue:after every rain, I had a wet driver's side floor and could also hear the occasional water sloshing in the side panel just behind me. There is some good info here.
I took a hard piece of wire and cleaned one of the drain holes underneath the left rocker. It seems to help, although the heavy rains are almost over here...

Cabin air filter enclosure not secure? If it isn't latched securely, you're in for a flood.

I've got the same problem, and I have read LOTS of treads about how to fix it, but none of them have working pics! Any chance anyone reading this does??

You just need to imagine rain pouring on the cover and where it can leak. Thinking there's some rubberized water dam in there somewhere to peel off much of it. Fixed mine years ago, easy, but can't remember exact details. I improvised and added material though.

Like he says, if the cabin filter cover is not right flood city.

Ok, my cabin air filter didn't come with a cover. When you pop off the plastic crowl, the air filter is exposed? Is there supposed to be a cover to the air filter box?

You could be right, I may be thinking about Contour. The actual outer cowl may be the 'cover'. Boy am I losing it.

It appears OP has brothers in misery...........
