Cool 2014 Focus Rear Badge color help

Hello! First post here and glad to be apart of the focusfanatics group!!! I recently purchased a 2014 ford focus SE and I have done only minor things to it such as interior LEDs. I saw on a picture someone had taken their rear focus bade that says "focus" and changed it from the chrome color to pink...I want to do the same thing but blue. I have searched and searched but cannot find how to do that! Thanks for the help :)

Ok so I watched some youtube videos of the Plasti-dip and I am a little weary of spraying it on my car while the logo is still attached to the car. Is it safe to spray it like that directly on the cars paint? And it looks like it peels up fairly easy so will it peel up when I wash the car and go over to logo??? I appreciate the input/help I am very new at this.

It's safe..people spray their whole car and thwn safely peel it off when they want a different look.

Ok that is really good to know. How long does it hold on? Like if I did my Focus emblem on the back would it hold up to me washing over by hand or taking it through an automated wash? Does your hood peel? How often should I re-coat it?

Put down about 5 coats of dip and you should be fine..I have had ZERO peeling issue and have not had to re-dip my hood.

How long has your hood been dipped? I can keep an extra can in my trunk in case it does peel I guess. Just wondering how long it lasts I guess

I dipped my rear badge two years ago and still looks like I did it and I'd advise against keeping a can of anything pressurized in your car when the temps get hot.
