Dear Blah, Read the whole post, my main concern was with Ford Motor Co. I was just relaying my experience to someone that wants an opinion. You love Ford,I had a problem with Ford. I can tell you where you can buy a red 2012 Focus SEL, it's still for sale.

yes, according to ford website FLs do not come standard on SE. part of "optional appearance" package. likely included in sport package also ( or maybe the same thing?.


SE Appearance Package:
Ambient lighting
60/40 split rear seat
Fog lamps
Leather steering wheel and shifter
17-inch Silver Aluminum Wheels
Leather seats
Perimeter alarm
Overhead console
Rear disc brakes
Sirius Satellite Radio with 6 month subscription (not available in AK or HI)

understand your frustration... I would have waited a bit more but you had your reasons, just FYI....I'm in the auto parts business. I sell tons of Vue parts & fit and finish seems bad from what dealers tell me. hope yours is ok. but you likely will regret the Chevy pick.. aka "Saturn". this car is likely was from period when gm was floundering and was verge of collapse. they gutted Saturn to a former shell of itself. just watered down 1st gen. equinox to what u have. good luck. I had 2008 Equinox as a company car. trash!!

With a $13k budget, it wouldn't be a bad idea to look at some previous generation cars rather than something so new. You could get some seriously reliable, well-equipped cars for that price if you don't mind looking a few years older...
