Question Car Stero which one? CD 6000 replacement

I have upgraded my Mk1 ford focus for a mk 2,5 2010 59 plate zetec , wonderful cars , loving the focus so much , however their car stereos leave a lot to be desired, i really need one that is

Bluetooth , maybe hands free built in

Plays CD

Has An Aux in

Make use of steering wheel stick controls

Looks right in the car

Any help would be great , i am a big music fan so as silly as it sounds this is my first priority with the car upgrade wise.

Kindest Regards

JC

I have an '06 (MK 1.5) , but i also been itching to upgrade my audio as well. But I'm too busy pumping money into other projects, dumb me. But anyways, you might be interested in the one I've had my heart set on for quite some time now.
It's the Sony WX-GT90BT , and it has pretty much everything you asked. And is steering wheel control ready, you need the the proper Harness . Hit the link, tell me what you think, and PM me if you have any questons =]

Hello ,

Thank you so much for your reply, have you seen these in action ? Sounds perfect and really good price as well, no i am no stereo fitter more of a music man , in halfords they have all the items needed including the stereo, but car stalk control mmmm not so sure , so would this be the same lead i would need

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_265880

Was tempted to go down the parrot route but unsure as to how distracting the lcd display would be as your driving as thst allows me to play music bluetooth and same price that way the ford stereos stays, so many choices. Anyway think a trip to halfords is in order or do ford garages fit these / sell them, sorry for so many questions , bit of a newbie to car steroes , in house stereos no problem, live music sound set up no problem , but car , boy oh boy its complicated.

Have a great evening and thank you for the reply

kindest regards

JC

I have heard this unit. Sony had recently added my workplace to their "authorized" list. So they came out and showed us a bunch of cool stuff, including this headunit. These days a stereo is just a stereo, including this one. But the reason I'm going with it, is because its visually appealing, gives me the chance to expand my audio system in the future (3 preouts), tho nothing special from the get-go (only 2 volts), clear signal @ 120 signal-to-noise. I can go on all day, i've done my homework on the dumb thing =P

Definitely take a trip to your local stereo shop, because that link you provided doesn't seem to be the correct harness. I could be wrong, tho just by Looking at it, i recall Focus' having a 'slim'-ish looking harness. Anyway, sorry for the super late response. Cheers.
