And here I was thinking that was the correct motor. That would have been a great set up to put it in the 12, NA motor that produced the same amount of power and torque as the ST. Well, back to the old drawing board.
That's all true except the torque part. You'll be hard pressed to make an NA 2.0l make 300+ ft lbs

With tuning almost available though, some decent bolt ons should start rolling out!

I'm like everyone here, can't wait to see whats coming as for go fast goodies. But in the mean time I guess I can start on some of the simple stuff. And then work my way to performance stuff later and hopefully have some money set aside. Now I need to get the lowering kit, and then the wheels. Which I will have to purchase one at a time. And it's going to be these bad boys.

$2027.00 and that is from Khan Cosworth wheels in the U.K and that is not including tires which sucks

I basically did the same mod on the air filter, but I went with the longer Spectre Red Filter, used the reducer and slid the reducer inside the filter along with the adapter sleeve. the Filter is touching the electrical box but fits. I had to trim the end of the cover so I could get it on, was hitting the filter. Even with the cover on, it still sounds like it is off due to the filter sticking out the end of the box. Sounds great, looks good and performs better.

Here is a pic of my make shift cold air intake. And still using the factory air box

And then I also installed my new dual exhaust with 4" tips

I know it not the full exhaust that was upgraded, but the upgraded muffler was worth it. I left both resonators in just to see how loud the exhaust would be. But I might take the smallest one out at a later date.

But let me know what you think of the work, and please be gentle. And again thank you for your comments
How funny I was thinking of using that exact same Spectre set up, all for under $50. Got a sound clip, would love to hear it.

Which Spectre filter did you use? Was it the 8168? If so it's suppose to fit a 3, 3.5, and 4 inch inlet tube or throttle body without an adapter.

I used this one on my setup. I even got the lid to close, but had to trip the end of the lid. I will try and take a few pics soon.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting back. I will try today to get a few sound clip vids of the exhaust and intake mod after I get the oil changed in the ride. I need to find some where there are no cops lurking around. After a kid in my neighborhood decided to take his boosted mustang on a road warrior chase sequence. The cops are all over the freaking place quite to get the vids. I will post them up once I get them
