If Ford would have made a 2007 ZX5 ST, I would have bought it. I prefer the hatch based strictly on practicality.

I had a zx3 which I loved, then the cor got totaled...I moved on for about 5 years, now im married and have a baby girls that's 2 weeks old, so I decided to get a mk1 sedan, because 1. I love the mk1 front end with some euro accents/ or svt or mach 1 lip...and 2. I chose a sedan because that way itll be easier to load/unload the baby car seat and what not,....then I seen a few stances sedan focus and it just made me pull the trigger on the mk1 sedan

Well I love my 04 ZX5 with the 2.3, so there is my vote.

Hatch with trailer hitch and roof rack. There isn't anything that you can't carry on a moments notice. That's just the practical side of me kicking in, but I'm still all for that a$$ on the hatches.

First Focus was an 03 ZX5 in Red with stick and full load. Nice car, and my GF actually prefers the look of the hatch over the sedan

Current is the 07 ZX4 with auto (b/c traffic jams suck!). Despite losing some cargo space, I prefer this design for the concealed trunk, and I feel like it conceals road noise from the rear wheels better than a hatch or wagon. Noise I noticed with the ZX5, but not this car. This one is quieter and I attribute it to this design as well as possibly better tires

Honestly, I like both and wouldn't have changed a thing in my decision

I do see alot of sedans around here (MK3) and from behind they look alot like their competition's rearend and harder to stand apart in a crowd but the nose on the Focus looks fairly unique..

For me it the hatch all the first Foci was a 2000 sedan which I really liked...traded that in for the 2003 ZX5 and the practicality of the hatch won me over!

Wagon, the practicality is unbeatable. In terms of styling though Hatch>Wagon>Sedan. IMO
