Cossie + those ports + 2.5L to feed should be really interesting!

The dash looks good, props for finding a cheaper easier way to do it

Today: Fluids

Ok, the patient is ready for surgery today ;)

Today - all fluids, resevoirs, pumps etc - might re-use some of these as they have been modified to not jiggle on stage.

and a little FORD PORN for you guys - yes, that is a Escort Cosworth RS you see in the stable - ReillyDog knows his vehicles.

Any guesses on final tuned HP

So the swap should be done next week and then time to do my pulls and drop a tune on her

Cossie plenum
A103 plugs
Stock 2.5l motor
Unplug vct
Catless dp
Dei wrapped header and full free flow exhaust

Anyone want to guess what we end up making at the crank ????

Will we crack 200?

It's a race car so if we blow it up - wash/rinse /repeat the build ;)

With no VCT, I say 185 at the crank. IIRC, the car falls pretty flat without the cam timing change. You might get 200 lb/ft but I would be surprised (and really happy) with 200 hp.

You cannot just unplug the VCT

I love this car

I gotta tell you - 3 years ago i pulled the motor out of my 2001 Audi B5 S4 - i think it took me 40 hours out - 25 hours back in (blown turbo ;)

This, was like a dream. I treated myself and rattle canned the valve cover and pressure washed out the motor well.

CBShaft Delete - arrived
Cossie Plenum - arrived

Decided i am going to put the 2.3L head on her while i play around with a workaround for the vct on the 2.5L head.

Need a new Exhaust header - cracked the last one - ANY SUGGESTIONS on brand/material ?????

Not sure what brand it was - pretty thick walls actually. Put a bead of WELD around both cracks - but cracked again. I dont run a flexpipe on the car. thinking maybe i should just to absorb the pounding vs cracking all the freakin time (cause i cant stop jumping the car ;)
