Exedy or luk

so im wondering what(if any) differences there are between the luk and exedy oe clutches...looking at the two "kits" with the flywheel/cluth/pressure plate and bearing...pricing is pretty close on the two.

Not much difference between them since they are both OEM replacements. Both are good brands and you shouldn't have any problem with either one if you just plan on leaving everything stock.

You can get the Luk clutch kit for 300-350 depending on where you looks. I've only seen the exedy kit for more than that though. Luk is the OEM clutch which you can't go wrong with.

there is a exedy oe clutch kit for the svt, from what i can see they seem to be $50-$75 more than the luk...thats why i was wondering the difference. i found the luk in the $340 range on parts geek.

Perfect, thanks for the source. Looks like Rock Auto has the Luk 7-175 kit for a similar price.

Check out clutch masters. Not sure what the oem replacement or stage 1-2 kits cost. I have a stage 4 and love it. Great quality product.
