That's pretty much it. SVT is now focusing on the Cobra for 2007. There was a rumor that they might bring it back, but thats a rumor. No more SVT Lightning and Foci.

When a 23k MSRP car goes for 18k, they were definately not making money. Breaking even if anything.

just lock this please. It has been discussed many many many times. Just deal with it and write ford a letter telling them that you want the SVTF back. They will pile it with the rest of them and never ever read them and prolly use them to test their new shreader. Just lock this and use the search fuction, and revive an old thread about this if you really want to discuss this never ending agrument

No SVT anything while they 'revamp' their lineup. But the SVT Focus will not be coming back.

In motortrends latest magazine they said that the new F-150 was too heavy thus no more SVT. However, they said that SVT was looking at doing a Ford Ranger. There have been previous concepts and they have looked stunning. With them doing a Ranger I don't see why they wouldn't do a focus, unless Ford wants to keep the ST (sport technology) as the top high performance model.

I suppose only time will tell...
