Hella Dyna Beam Owners - Help

I have got the HDB and did the wire hack and everything works great.
In the installation thread it said there are switches in the HDB that allow for left hand drive or right hand drive. I found the switches but am not sure if up is for left or down or is one up and one down.

Anyone that has these and has figured out the switch position please let me know. When I switch it, it just puts up a little sheild to block the light on the side. Does the switch do anything else? My passanger side is aimed pretty good but my driver side is low. I did try the adjustment screws and it came up some but would like it up more. Anyone have any suggestions on how to align these things.

Thanks,
Joe

Ok, I took the headlight out and messed with the adjustment screws. I finally got it aiming good.

Still not sure what position the switch is supposed to be in for LHD car.

Let me see If I have a picture of when I did mine. Your cutoff should be virtually flat with maybe a really small ^ in the middle of each beam. Do you have HID or the Dynabeam with halogen?

If you have the halogen, you flip the switch up

Aha, Up. Got it.
Thank you...

Also, I have the Halogen but converted to the HID by myself. If anyone wants to know how to convert it nice just message me.

Dynabeam mod to HID

I've just installed the halogen dynabeams on my 02 svt from Aaron at Bora. Two things.....can you send me your HID upgrade info.....2nd, the driver's beam is too low and the adjuster is wound all the way "up"...is there an internal adjustment that can be made to raise the projector beam separate from the external white plastic screw and gear?

Thanks! Bob
