Bugs weren't an issue, though it is winter, so not many around. Cleaned easily, and stayed on.

How many coats did you use for each wheel?

it took me like 3 cans but that was on my steelies. 2-3 cans and just use a bunch to get it thick. Mine held up almost a year now, all through winter when it was -50 degrees at some points, all the ice and sand, not even a scratch.

just don't use any cleaners with bleach or ammonia as it breaks down the rubber, found that out the hard way. just faded to a dull grayish black. stick to soap and water!

Actually I dont use "coats". I had to mask the lip for the look I wanted, I just started at the center and started spraying working my way to the outer lip, that way when the dip was still wet I could pull the tape off without tearing the dip.

Another tip to remove any dip that you cant peel off is to use bug and tar remover or certain tire shines melt it off as well. I only clean mine with car wash soap and water or using a damp sponge, I spray the wheel with Invisible Glass, wipe with the damp sponge then dry with a clean microfiber cloth.

Later this spring I will redo them all black, no lip with a couple coats of the silver metallizer. It looks just like LG (the color of my car)
