Shoot for 5-6 coats so that it will peel off later. As for cans, I'd guess 2-3 should be plenty.

I had plastidip on my lower bumper, did 6 coats over the course of an hour and a half (it dries quick) and it lasted throughout winter, I got bored of it and peeled it off. But it does hold up very well.

Dont know, theyre still like new, its in my brake thread. i did it like a month ago. Forgot to answer, i waited like 10 mins in between coats. I did one round of wheals will the others dried. Then started a new round after i was finished

Also i did no prep at all, no sanding, just cleaned with dish soap and a sponge

Ived washed the car like 3 times since and its still holding up. I use normal sponges, brushes etc...

This is the wheel that was silver

2 cans will do all 4 wheels. I have done mine twice, took it off when I got new tires and redid them. It holds up just fine, 8 months on my first time yielded no chips or scratches, this time is about 2 months and they are still perfect. I drive 60 miles a day, so they have seen some miles:
