Question front stabilizer bar question

what is the factory front stabilizer bar size for the 08-11 gen 2 focus?

i have a bent one on my 08 and the dealer says a new bar costs $128 but they cannot tell me what size it is.

ive been searching the forum and cannot find any info pertaining to the 2nd gen.

a search of the net only returns people complaining of the end links failing or people selling just the end links. fswerks doesn't show any bars for the 2nd gen only 1st and 3rd. im told the st 06+ stuff is the same for the 08+

rock auto shows that the rear is 18mm but that's it.

nobody sells the bushings either except for the rear.

white line seems to be the only supplier making bars but they run $200 and say they are 22mm.

i would like to step up a size and know the formula for strength is (new/old diam)^4 or something like that.

how large should i go? i dont want to damage the control arms so i figure +2 mm will be fine.

and what change to handling can i expect? the car is mostly flat and neutral right now with lift off oversteer. i had installed the frpp zx3B springs and dampers and love the way things are but want more but i dont want to add understeer or oversteer.

and why is there no sticky for sway bar or suspension faqs?

Yes i saw that one which raised more questions. Still a lot of disagreement on size but the replacement bushings ive found for the rear match that of the person saying 18mm rear.

Thats the question that keeps me up at night.

Theres only one possibility. Week one of ownership had me getting hit. The right front quarter of the car had to be replaced. How i went 5 years with no issues is what puzzles me. Why now? I dont know if the new frpp struts have something to do with it. The car sits about an inch lower or so. I havnt measured. I had asked the mechanics about what will happen to the bar as far as its angle, and they said nothing will change. I tried to explain to them that the car will sit lower meaning the bar will be closer to the ground and that where it attaches to the strut will remain the same so higher in relationship. Effectively pulling (rotating) the bar up.
