+1 on theretrofitsource
i would get the clear lenses, and also if you want brighter than you can get the 50w ballastes and bulbs. they are not plug and play but make the light output soooo mcuh better. i have 50w 6000k bulbs but a 4300k would be the brightest but not as pretty lol. from the pics you have shown your bulbs seem to be bluish which is indeed pretty but not bright. i dont think the bulbs in there are stock. at a very minimum atleast order some 35w 4300-6000k bulbs from the retrofit source and i bet you will be amazed. But mu advice is 50w ballast and bulbs and clear lenses!!! As everyone else has said do not replace them with anything else lol.
and if u r brave enough they look great if you do them black

What all goes into changing projector lenses? Is that the process of putting e housing in an oven and taking it apart?

for the lenses no baking required, you do have to remove the actual projector fromt he housings though, and then there are some tabs that you bend up to free the lens, the hardest part is wiggling it out and the new one in lol. but overall its simple you should be able to search the forum or google for a how to.

I'm kinda thinking this is a bulb issue like u said. I think I'll have to try to find some replacements. What should I be looking for on eBay as far as bulb size?

95 bucks for replacement bulbs is nuts. They are 15 bucks on eBay. I have eBay bulbs in my highs lows and fogs in my truck and they are bright as hell. I am sure TRS bulbs are good. But I just can't justify 80 dollars more for a "maybe" fix.

if you dont want to spend the 95 which actually is worth it since these bulbs last a very long time, and your output would be greatly increased, then yes the morimotos would be a good choice as well. 5000k is whats listed in calebs link but 4300k would be brighter. 5000k is aproaching a pure white and 6000k is white with a hint of blue but the higher up you go the less output. Just dont get some cheap brand no one has heard of for $15.
Its been awhile since i did my lens swap but i dont recall having a hard time getting the projector out, its just four nuts that you remove.
