16 inch wheel problem

Okay I reeeeaaaalllly need someone's help. I wanna get some 16's for my mk3 focus. The dude on craigslist says he measured from the middle on one bolt to the middle of the other and got 5x4.25. I thought you were supposed to measure from the middle of one bolt to the back of the across bolt. Idk, does anyone think they will fit?

Nope. They're 5x108 and hub centric.

The hubs are part of the weight-bearing and centering equation of the wheel, is the best way I know to put it.

The 4.25 part might work... IDK... it's close... but if the hub size is wrong, it can cause trouble. OTOH, maybe they're off a Volvo or Mazda and it's all good.

Yeah it sucks because it's about a 1 hour drive to where he is at. I'm not worried about gas at 33.2 mpg I'm getting right now but time because I need to work so it better be worth it!
