wastegate and catch can help

hey guys

a few years ago i installed a turbo kit on my car and have ran into a couple issues with over boosting and oil leaking, so i just want to make sure im going to be doing things right this year

last year i was just running the wastgate and didnt install a boost controller, this year i am

so i have the tial MV-s WG and the greddy profec B spec2 EBC

so im assuming i run the top port of the WG to the EBC and the bottom port on the WG to the turbo housing and block off all the other hole on the WG?

and for my catch can, i just had it going from the block to the can and the valve cover to the can and it was causing issues

so this year i got a new can and if i think this is right - go from the block and VC to the catch can and then from the catch can to the filter side of the turbo?

or can i just pop a mini filter on the top of the can to vent it and not have to worry about a line going to the filter side of the turbo?

thanks for the help guys!!

You are good on the EBC .
On the PVC goes straight to the catch can, it must be -10an or 5/8 hose and fittings for both PVC and VC. You can run a baby filter of the catch can or a hose to atmosphere, don't go back to the turbo with it, might suck oil in and you don't want that.

You dont want the PCV or the valve cover breather going back to the intake in any way this only sucks hot oily air back into the engine

I have seen dozens of engines blown by the SpecII EBC my opinion is there junk and shouldnt be used , they have fuzzy logic and have to go past boost to learn then reset and it may do this 1 time 3 times or 5 times , there insanely hard to set up properly vs other EBC out there

I would not run the boost signal hose to the turbo , I would run it to the intake manifold as thats where you want "x" amount of boost to be , not at the turbo
