So, just out of curiousity -
what is different between - 2012 Ford Focus SE Sport MK3 vs 2013 Hatch ?

Thanks. Not a whole lot of differs. I do know that all 2013 can run on corn. But it was a package for 2012.

Edit: Corn =e85

It wasn't a package the flex fuel compatibility was standard on all non P-ZEV 2.0L Ti-VCT models for Job 2 2012 builds from 3/5/2012-7/22/2012 and on all non P-ZEV 2.0L Ti-VCT models built after 7/23/12 to present for all 2013 models.

What they did was get rid of a lot of individual options packages and bundle things into a few super packages for the Focus SE to load it up to being as close to the Ti as possible while costing more, while also eliminating the SEL models in 2013.

I followed this thread. But try going from above by removing the headlights. It looked easier. Each headlight is held in by 2 screws. To get from underneath is like 8 screws and a couple clips (mud guard)

Got my new K&N air filter today.
there is a subtle change in the sound of the engine. you can really only hear it when you put the peddle down. nothing crazy but i can tell the engine is breathing easier. I was able to get the filter for pretty cheap. this will hold me over until I can get a CAI. I would buy it again if i had to.

Personally, I think blacking out the 'Ford' emblem in the front looks 'wrong' in some way, like there should be something there that is missing. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be changed but I have seen several of these blackout/debadge threads and the oval just looks wrong to me blacked out. I think someone with more aesthetic sense than I should come up with something that doesn't look like there is something missing in that spot.

The hood deflector and blacked out Ford logos kill it for me... Just get yourself some black/gray emblem overlays

Not commenting on your fascination with slime green but...
I think the hood deflector on a Platinum White car is a great accent. With any luck, I will have time this weekend to take pictures of my toy, it's nothing special but I do love it and I am looking for what I consider tasteful additions to it.
I believe that Magenta is the opposite of slime green.
