Changing the injectors on the direct injection engines takes special tools and the Teflon gaskets are time sensitive.

Huh? I know people who have pulled them out with a slide hammer. For the Mazdaspeed CP-e injectors seals, they actually give you a tool with your purchase.

I have no idea what you're talking about with time sensitive teflon gasket...

Some people were using some permatex on the seals but they found that was basically welding the seals to the head and causing issues with removal.

Hmmm I guess the Focus injector seal could be different...

Here is what the aftermarket Mazdaspeed injector seals look like.

So who has grenaded their engine on here & what mods did they have? Also were they DCT or manuals? My DCT won't go above 6500.

Our test car has been north of 7k rpm's with no issues. It's a DCT, and bone stock with the drive out tag still on it

I'm asking cuz I'm skeptical of putting on a header that may need to be
