My guess is both, but they may be thinking about power left on the table rather than fuel consumption. I'd prefer not to run too lean that you risk burning the engine up though.

No this is because of the changes we made within the timing and spark tables. You are essentially looking at a tune that could run 93 octane, or 91. We are working with a completely stock car right now, and considerations are being made for the catalytic converter.

Would being at stoich, 14:1, be too lean for the converters?

Depending on the application, no. Our tuning is covering a broad range because we know that not everyone want to pay for a devise..........pay for dyno time.......pay for a custom tune......so their car can be running at the peak of efficiency.

It's dangerous for engine use in anything other than light loads.

Nice pickup overall in the low rev range too. That IS the car's downfall in stock trim (gotta rev its nuts off at launch to get anywhere!). Also, it seems someone at I.E. is fond of the P-touch labeler, haha.
Believe me when I tell you this is only the very beginning for injected

I ask for hp reasons... I couldn't care less about mpg.

You're keeping the CC temps down but I'd love to see some pulls more around 13.0-13.4:1.

You saw it cuz I tapped it

On a car that has more modifications, you will see the tables leaned out a bit. Right now we are beginning with a completely unmodified car. This is not the only tune we will be offering
