It will be tough but the tune will definitely put you close. In addition to the tune you're also going to need a cai, cat back exhaust, header, and 93 octane to get there. Injected has also come out with the 180 degree t-stat which wouldn't hurt. Maybe an after market throttle body could bump us over the 200hp mark.

May not neccessarily need a header.. but we don't know yet. Same with an A/M TB.... just have to see.


RDC 's goal is around 200 with our CAI, Catback and the Tune.... possible-yes, promised-no... but we are sure going to try like hell to get there

Yeah it's possible but you need 23 more HP than anybody else has gotten with just those two parts, maybe if you tuned for E85, obviously we are friends and I want to see you do it but I am skeptical based on the results that Red had and the gains from all the other dynos from exhaust and CAI. Your CAI potentially could pull in more cold air which would help, and them tuning for those extra parts. I think mid 180s is likely based on your stock dyno.

The "limit" on the DCT is 177tq for North America/Australia dry DCT. Focusboy58 was pushing that limit without a tune, but there could be a lot more room, older focus models were able to exceed their "limit" by a lot without issues. It more than likely would be a shorter lifespan rather than a catastrophic failure. The DCT tuning that injected is bringing possibly could help with this as well, so the gears don't grind under the higher torque and may be able to limit the torque in the tune.

But horsepower is the product of torque and RPM, so if you limit torque you'll limit the horsepower as well.
