Seats on 2012 SEL

I have the 2012 SEL with cloth seats. I'm 5'8" and I find these seats terribly uncomfy. I should've gone with the leather seats!

Any how, does any one else find these seats a bit uncomfortable? Also, out of curiosity, how many times do you guys pull the lever to raise the seat if you're of similar height?

Sorry for the stupid post.

i'm 6', 175 and have the leather seats and find them very comfy -- far better than my '01 focus esp on long drives.... but i do find it difficult to get a good seating position vis a vis the gauge cluster, steering wheel, pedals, seat....for me the gauge cluster is too low and too recessed for easy viewing.. just my 2cents...

I'm 6'3 190lbs I have the sport package 2 tone heated cloth seats. Probably the most comfortable seats I've sat in. When I picked up my focus I also test drove a Mazda 3 and a Kia Forte Koup and the Kia felt like I was sitting on a wooden bench. Awful

I have a 2012 SEL with cloth. They're comfortable enough but the stone fabric stains way too easily. Definitely scotchguard it. Once dirtied, it is impossible to remove any mark without leaving a water stain. I've tried several different upholstery cleaners with the same result.

I actually have to disagree. (Everyone is different). I traded in my 2010 Focus SES that had the leather seats and my back was always killing me when I drove the car. Got a 2012 SEL and find these sats very comfortable and since trading in my 2010, my back problems have gone away.

I have the leather seats and they kill my back! I think the reason is because the seat bottom is reclined backwards (even when I move it "up" all the way) and I want it more level and it ends up just hurting my back when I drive.

Also, my back sweats like crazy in these seats. I think I'd actually prefer cloth since perforated leather was never an option.

Perforated leather was available on the Focus Electric though wasn't it? Although if I recall correctly it was only the tan leather.

However the case still stands that it wasn't optional on the standard Titanium models.

I drove a rental in Vegas with the leather seats and absolutely loved them.

I think I've found the correct seating position, but yikes, I did find these cloth ones having a bit too much support LOL.

Thank you all for the responses!

proper seating position makes a world of difference too... most people don't sit up-right enough and have the steering wheel too far away.
