I keep my student ID in it. I am no longer in school but still use it when I go to movies and a few other places. I don't use that ID enough to justify carrying it in my wallet all the time. By leaving it in that card holder, I have it when I need it.

I absolutely agree I would never keep a credit card in there. I keep my college ID in there for when I need it. I can see it being useful for work ID's and things like that as well. What about AAA card? Gas savings/grocery store card? Seems like there could be a lot of possibilities. In any case, I appreciate they at least tried to do something with the slot rather than just putting a blank in there.

I actually find it pretty useful as-is. I keep my parking garage tickets there so they don't get lost... not really a cool idea though.

That's what I use it for too. Parking lot tickets work well too.

A bit of the card sticks out.

A USB port or two, or two USB ports and a 12v connector would be really nice. Would make it easy for friends to plus their phones in on car rides. Maybe the USB ports could actually charge the phone at a normal speed instead of the trickle charge that the center console ports give lol

You can't pull a card out when the car is in park, making it of little use to me.
