Just checked out FSWERKS...

$389.95 for header and $459.95 for "stealth" exhaust. With no cat I might need it LOL.

But they want $519.90 for header WITH 2.25" flex pipe What's so different about it than one from advanced auto for 1/4 the price???

EDIT: Oh I see, it's that funky thing that goes up over the axle or something (it goes over something, can't remember what.)...

Don't think I can go FSWERKS, not purely at least without raising my budget... I guess We'll have to see what kind of money I have when the time gets here. Still I'd like to consider all my options, while as the high end cost stuff may be better, my budget is limited, I may just try to do something like freemind... as it doesn't seem to bad for 133hp and 126 torque at the wheel. I guess, we'll see :)

Any recommended exhausts that would play nice with the FSWERKS header?

You could post a thread that says "WTB: SVT Header" in the Buy-Sell-Trade forum and simply state what you're willing to pay for one. There might be somebody out there willing to part with theirs for a little cash.

Alright so when I get the money I'll make a healthy attempt to get an SVT header and I'll go from there. I checked out those exhausts and the prices seem great. So many choices, just what I want

Nice plans! Pretty similar to mine as well. Some may say that "THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS!!!" But it is not entirely true ;)

Buy-Sell-Trade section on here is incredible so keep a watch on it. Maybe a salvage yard in your area may have one as well.

Shouldn't take that long to obtain an SVT Header/Cat/Flex here, I bought the set after looking for about a week, think it cost me like $300 2 years ago. Obtained a second SVT Header for the car just a month ago and was able to locate a good one on here in about 3 days.

They DO test where I live so I have one with the EGR and one without.

As far as quality goes, I don't believe you can get any better than the OEM SVT package mated with the FSW Stealth(or Race). I've gotten a lot of compliments from some of the Honda tuners in my area, and when I pull up next to them they all slow down because they THINK my car is faster. :D

Now if only I could find a few fanatics around here, I wouldn't have to hang around the Honda crap.

One thing to note though, the FSW Stealth does not direct connect to the SVT Flex, you'll need a shop to create a small 'reducer' to have a smooth transition from the flex to the 1st muffler, otherwise its like a half inch difference(not 100% on how much of a difference, just that its not the same diameter)

Thanks, Well I'll bump this or maybe make a build thread when I install it and possibly rust remove/paint it, just so it isn't worthless, LOL.

Awesome, I'll keep an eye out... To find a salvage yard with svt in it Isvery unlikely... Already looked back when I got my car for spares, everything in this area is SPIs :S but I'm still keeping an eye out...

Yeah I know what you mean, and originally to think I wanted a civic and "settled" on this as temp car *shudders*. I did finally find a ZX2er and he's pretty cool. He's over in west Virginia, but they have some epic roads over there. Heck they manage to make a turn on a straight stretch, so you can just imagine the hills :D

Yeah I was kind of expecting that, I'd like to avoid it, but I dought i'll have to much luck there lol. Just so long as I'm not running to advanced auto with nothing but a header

I like to use www.car-part.com for stuff like that. I found one for $75 but it's 86 miles away from you. Just keep saving and check on it. That SVT might be worth the drive if you can pick lots of parts off it.

86 miles sounds like a good drive on a boring weekend, pretty good... Would defenetly be worth it if it had a few good parts to pick! I'll keep this booked marked seems like a great thing to have, thanks ;)
