The Fusion doesn't use a DCT, just a 6F35 planetary automatic transmission with a torque converter. I.e. a normal plain old automatic. Its the fluid that gives it the higher torque capacity, but its also less efficient than a dry friction clutch.

Except it's not lol. Look up kmac and his St build thread on either focusst.Org or mazdaspeedforums. He made 330whp on a 6262 @16psi and he didn't need to compensate for lack of fueling. That was with a crap box tune made for a stage 2 ST as well. St fuel system seems to be built for some power from what I've seen so far. Its much better than the ms3 system.

Edit: I may have gotten confused when you said "ST system" if you meant fuel system, my point is still valid. If you meant its powertrain as a whole then yes, you're right. It will be hard pressed to make 300+ without methbor spray on such a small hairdryer.

Also, I wish Gabe would run a Wideband and look at afr's before everyone says it might be running lean. These ECUs are very adaptive, not to mention DI is fine running a bit leaner than a port injected engine

He's running meth. So... not the same. And yeah, it'd be nice to see some more data on it. But again, that's pretty aggressive, not something I would expect to be very street friendly. And again, some of that depends on the dyno. Would like to see before/after dyno curves.

Selectshift is just Ford's trademarked name for their manual shift mode and is featured on fwd, rwd, and awd torque converter automatics as well as on the DCT in the Focus.

The only cars in the Ford line up using the DCT at the moment are the Fiesta and the Focus, which is known by the trademarked name PowerShift with or without the optional selectshift feature with sport auto and manual shift modes.

Being streetable is all in the tune and tire setup. And he wasn't on meth, he said he installed it just in case but didn't use it/ didn't need it on the 330 pull. But I agree, more info and data would be nice. It's pretty much just his word of mouth right now.

As soon as someone releases a turbo adapter I can get that info first hand
