If you still need a xcal for datalogging I live in Springfield also and have a xcal3 and xcal2 either which you could use to datalog if needed.

So I purchased an Xcal3 finally so ill be able to datalog and get some more info.

Ive been swamped at work because the fiscal year is ending (state worker) and i have to close a bunch of accounts with our vendors.. so my weekends have been hell.. along with wife's bday and well just life problems lol

july should be pretty easy.. so im hoping to get this rolling..


i had a thought that im not sure if i mentioned before..

my white car was running perfect and one day i was fixing the connections on my battery (located in the trunk) and when i pulled the alarm wire off i guess it activated the cut off switch at the pump.. well the car wouldnt start at all after that... since it was friday i left the car at my warehouse at my old job and decided to address it on monday.. well monday came and my battery was dead... so i called the guy that does electronics to pull my alarm off that i didnt want it anymore.. he pulled it all off and we jumped the car.. still no luck...

we took it to his shop via tow.. and he concluded it was the Fuel Pump Driver module that must of fried during the jump? iono.. i took his word for it since hes been my mechanic for years..

he switched it out.. and the car turned right over no issues...

about a month later that's when i started the current issues im having..

now i am running a return fuel system.. would switching the FPDM cause any issues? did it have to be reprogrammed? when the return fuel was setup doesnt that usually bypass the FPDM?

So i received my xcal3, and i wanted to see if it communicated with the car since a predator wouldnt..

i started the datalog but all the parameters said invalid... would the chip currently plugged in cause interference?

also finally my check engine light came back on after months of it being off...

the code the xcal gave me was P0103....

what do you mean? how is the return fuel setup? tbh I have no clue.. i had a shop in chicago do it.. and since then (6-7 years ago) they went under.. the only other person that has seen it is Tom.
