was there ever a 00/04 OE non A\C focus?

im looking at the 2000/2004 years in the LX cars.
just thought if any one on hear has a focus that's OE with out A\C???

im looking at Focuses on line and bidding.
so there all like 3 or 4 hours away even with a 30 mpg mid size SUV its $60 to go see it....
and yes i plan on putting a up-graded head on it should i get one, no matter the ODO reading...
i value the mpg of the SPI/manual over the Zetec

on a another hand...

im doing a SPI fix on a SE auto thats not mine.
for any one looking for a SPI head this is where im getting the one to fix this focus.

ok found some info on the rims..

the steel rims are OE at
P185/65R14

so 14s will fit...a 2000/2004

any one ever put a OE steel 14" and a OE alloy 15" on a lb scale for comparison with no tire on it LOL

or is there some 14" alloys i could source from another auto that would fit?

ha ha won the bid....

with all there fees, and getting a title/plates its a total of about $1,500 for the auto.
and the 400 mile drive to go get it.

raw bid price was $875

only string in the deal is, its On Approval with the seller.
the seller held the right to refuse a bid nothing like a monkey in the deal......

I have an 03 LX that I bought new.

IIRC, A/C did not come standard on the LX, I purchased mine with the "comfort package", which I believe included the a/c and the arm rest with storage.

congrats on the new ride. hope you love it.

186 on the clock, and she looks to be the OE SPI head.....

im thinking ill hold off on the tags ECT tell i get it road worthy with a up-grade head...from clear-water.

and yes it has A\C and rear window deffoger.
other then that i think the only other option could be the tape deck....

also all my other rides have a tack and not having one in a quite auto is rather annoying......
i searched the CC and rpm mods, i think long term there good up-grades.

also i got one key with the car, can i just go have a spare made at the hard ware store or is it steal-er ship only???

AND THE CAR FLIPPED ME OFF!!!!!! then i figured out its to say HAY UP SHIFT lol

after 4 hours of 45/60mph driving with the ZOO, tow dolly and focus in tow, getting in the car and driving it was like warp speed...
so yea speed is a reliteve term......

185/65/14 is OE and 23.4" tall

ive found there's also a few other sizes.

175/70/14 23.7"
185/70/14 24.2"
195/70/14 24.8"
185/75/14 25"
195/75/14 25.5"

i do about 90% road driving, so i lean to a tall narrow tire to reduce drag.
the smaller the rim and taller the side wall the smother the ride, and less cab sound.
just did'ent know if some of those sizes are too big...
as the OE 15" size is 195/60/15 24.2"

ahh did a search and found the lug pattern. kinda funky
4 x 108

since there's no 14" info in this thread.
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=2278
im guessing no one has tried to find 14" alloy rims....in the 4X108 pattern.

but i do know now a OE 15" alloy rim is 15.2LBs
