Help anyone please Wont release from park

My car is stuck in park and the only way i can release is to use the emergencey release.I believe it is the the brake shift interlock because the brake lights are working fine. Can anyone tell me how and where to look for the 12 volts going to the interlock beneath the arm rest /center counsel.
Any help especially pics would be a huge help. also if it is bad how do you remove to replace it?

9/10 times the brake switch is the culprit.

Or a battery about to konk out, the solenoid trouble shows up just before it.

Pull console and the solenoid is on bottom of shifter assembly. It is easily removed to never cause trouble again, I do it to all my cars.
